Beverley's images are drawn from a combination of sketches and memory, or direct studies of natural forms. The wood-engraving tools give great scope for examining detail and creating texture. These activities are explored further with watercolour and fine brushes, especially for fungi and birds’ nests.
Beverley also has work in 'Coppice' at Farfield Mill www.farfieldmill.org
and 'Teapots and Plates' at Natterjacks, Sefton House, Ulverston email UKval@btopenworld.com
